A delicious, enriching global experience tucked into a beautiful building in Webster Grove. Their baked goods are amazing and the Bosnian coffee was super cool. There's a whole ritual to drinking it that involves sugar cubes and Turkish delight. They give you printed instructions so you can enjoy it to the fullest. The breakfast pide with an over easy egg and middle eastern meat stuffing is super flavorful and filling. The next-level avocado toast was loaded w cucumbers, fire roasted tomatoes, Kalamata olives, feta, a whole avocado, topped with an over easy egg over Union Loafers sourdough. The ingredients are very fresh and locally sourced, including the eggs from Buttonwood Farms. Everything was topped with fresh herbs that added depth to the flavors. I cannot wait to dine here again!
I celebrated my birthday here with friends and it was wonderful! Loved sitting outside on the patio, our food (and coffee) was delicious and the service was great, especially Emily who was amazing! We even got to shop for plants after brunch. It was perfect.
I ordered an iced latte and the orange sponge cake. The coffee was not super strong, but still tasty. The orange sponge cake was superb! The decor and environment is warm and friendly and I loved my time here for a solo coffee date. Busy place, plan accordingly!
10/10, 5 stars, amazing, beautiful. We both got the cilbur (Turkish eggs). Will be chasing that first bite high. Update (4/5/26): went back and got the avocado toast which was like really good but nothing lived up to those Turkish eggs (cilbur). We also tried a new pastry (I forgot its name but it started with a P and was a cocunut cake) which was SO GOOD. Tasted like baklava in cake form. Big takeaway is that the cilbur is a must-try and their baked goods are too freaking tier
Incredible staff and service. There was a bit of a line but they moved everyone along so efficiently I didn't notice much of a wait. The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere is cozy and Mediterranean. I absolutely love their decor and the little details they put into this place.
Loved every moment we spent at Telva. We went on Saturday around 1pm and our food was served within 15 minutes of ordering. We indulged in the breakfast pide, avocado toast, cilbir (turkish eggs) and the portokalopita. All the bites were so inventive and packed with flavor, but our personal favorite was the avocado toast. The ambiance is beautiful and we believe Telva is one of the best brunch spots in STL!
I’m all the way from Oregon and I have to say, my favorite thing was my drink I ordered and I had with Pistachios milk. I’m wow, where I can get the same pistachios milk? It was homemade? I highly recommend you guys trying this place, very unique! I just wish I would have it here in Oregon, but I definitely will visit this place again in the near future.
My family had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch here today. We made reservations a couple of weeks ago, and thank goodness for that. When we arrived at the restaurant, the line was well out the door! We were seated promptly (we were allowed to select off the menu, given that we had a large party of 16), and the service was attentive, efficient, and friendly. The rustic atmosphere is well-complimented by the lush greenhouse next door. The food was delicious, especially the Mustafa Toast and the avocado toast. The fact that the meat is halal really sets it apart from other savory brunch options in STL. I highly recommend Telva at the Ridge and look forward to coming back.
Despite the weekend brunch crowds, their system is efficient and organized. I’m not a huge fan of the "order before you sit" policy, but I get it. For instance, we wanted more coffee, but the long line discouraged us from going back up. That aside, all the dishes are excellent and full of flavor. The latte is incredible! One other point for improvement—just a minor detail—is that we were served a warm cinnamon pastry before anything else. It didn't make much sense since we had ordered drinks and savory dishes first. But that’s just a small thing! We absolutely loved the atmosphere and the menu.
Went to Telva at The Ridge for brunch on a Sunday around noon. It was definitely busy, but honestly that just made it feel like a place people really like. There were people constantly coming in and out, and the wait was only about 20 minutes, which was not bad at all for that time of day. The food came out warm and fresh, which I always notice and appreciate, and their coffee was really yummy too. Everything tasted great. My only comment would be that the servers did not check on the table very often, so service could have been a little more attentive. Other than that, it was a really nice brunch spot and I’d go back.
